Very smooth, absolutely delicious. |

The coffee is great and the fast shipping is excellent. Keep up the good work. |

Like another reviewer, I find too many loosely packed pods. Water runs through them too fast. I find the Bristot and Illy far superior in richness of shots all around. |
||
Very good coffee with above-average crema. |

"Grinders, you don't need no steenkin' grinders!" Especially when one can experience some of Italy's best espresso caffe' in pods. I have been partial to Bristot but decided to go Pod Pickin' and hit upon Gran Crema by Lavazza. Excellent in every aspect. Great aroma, savory taste without a hint of bite, and of course crema' that is "stand-up"! |

Great stuff, just like in Europe, with plenty of "crema"; I have a Barista Espresso machine from Starbucks and it's a relief not to have to use the Starbucks pods which are 1) not as good as these Italian ones, and 2) overpriced. |
||
I love the Starbucks pods. I live in an area where I could only get them mail order. Starbucks ceased mailorder coffe so I have been looking for a replacement brand. Lavazza was ok but not great. |

Lavazza is the largest of all the excellent, hugely numbered and highly-competetive Italian coffee roasters. They didn't get there by accident. This their "Gran Crema" and the name doesn't lie. It has a medium-roast flavor that's top notch. My only complaint at all about it is that I've had a few pods which aren't packed as tightly as I'd like to see. Actually, if it were possible, I'd rate this about 3.6 out of a possible 4.0. This, like Bristot, is a great choice for a "daily coffee." I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one for evening use. |

Notable for its thick golden crema, slightly sweet with only the slightest aftertaste. This is a good general espresso, but not exceptional so I only give it 3 out of 4 beans. |
