| Pete from San Francisco, CA on 08-19-04 I used the "go pod picking" program and tried 9 different Italian espresso pods. To my palate, the Danesi was the best of the bunch, with Bristot and Ciald'Oro close seconds. All 3 of these pods had the flavor profile I like: low acidity, deep roasted flavor, clean finish. The 3 Danesi pods I sampled were more a bit more consistent than the other two favorites, moving Danesi to the top of my list. I have a Gaggia Carezza machine, and was using Illy medium roast pods until I discovered the far superior options available at podhead. My remaining Illy pods are going into the trash. |

The web site is excellent and easy to maneuver in. The selection of coffees is excellent and the processing/shipment is extremely timely. I have no complaint to register in any way. |
